What is interlibrary loan?
- Customers of the KIT Library may use interlibrary loan to order literature which is not available in Karlsruhe.
- For each interlibrary order the fee of € 1,50 will be charged on your library account.

Hint! Book order suggestion
Instead of ordering by interlibrary loan you can submit a free of charge book order suggestion ("Literaturwunsch"), which we will handle benevolently.

To submit an interlibrary loan, you have four options:
A click on this button will lead you to the log-in page of our local lending system ("Mein Konto")
After you've logged in the interlibrary loan order form ("Online-Fernleihe") will be displayed. Now YOU have to complete the order form with the bibliographic data manually.
In this case you can use a KVK search result to fill in the order form.
In this case you can use Catalogue of articles (SwetScan) search result to fill in the order form.
In this case you can use a special databases search result to fill in the order form.
Informations about your interlibrary loan orders at "Mein Konto":
A click of this button will lead you to the log-in page of our local lending system ("Mein Konto"). After you've logged in the statement of your library account ("Kontoauszug") will be displayed.
